Messages from Pastor Roy J. Holbrook

Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, from whom all blessings flow. It is a pleasure to welcome you to the church family of DABC. I am grateful to unite with you and eager to assist you as you grow spiritually. I will provide you with instruction (Matthew 28:19-20), protection (Philippians 2:4), assistance (Romans 15:1, Galatians 6:2), and prayer (James 5:16).

Brethren, the Lord desires to do a great work in and through you, but God can only use as much of yourself as you make accessible to Him. You are encouraged to serve in your unique capacity (1 Corinthians 12:12-14). The Lord is looking for individuals that are FAT (faithful-available-teachable). I, therefore, strongly urge everyone to make an effort to attend worship services, Sunday school, Bible study, and prayer meeting regularly. (Hebrews 10:24-25).

My goal for you here at DABC is to equip you by the Word of God, expose you to sound teaching and preaching, empower you to walk boldly in your gifts and talents, and encourage you through prayer and love. May the Lord pour out on you the Joy of Jesus!!!
